Handmade from 18k gold and sterling silver, the Cat Talisman symbolizes the unbreakable bond formed between a cat and his or her soul companion. Its face is carved from a recycled piano key, and its features delicately scrimshawed by hand. The necklace is reversible - showing the black onyx stone on the back - and beaded with natural black sapphires. Worshipped as guardians of the spirit world in ancient Egypt, cats today guard our hearts and protect us. The necklace measures 1.5" x 1.7".

Each goddess necklace is signed on the bottom by the artist, with an easy-to-use sterling silver and gemstone box clasp. The standard beading length is 19" but can be strung to any length.
I have a very deep connection with cats, as you may have noticed from the abundance of cat necklaces in my jewelry! I’ve had five very special cat companions in my life so far, and as an introvert, I’ve always felt it was easier to communicate with them than actual humans. Cats have their own language, and if you are lucky enough to be loved by a cat, you will learn to speak with them. This Cat Talisman represents the indefinable connection between a cat and their person, and can always commemorate those friends who are no longer with us.
