Handmade from sterling silver and 18k gold, the Flower Fairy necklace shows the goddess and her silver hair covered in golden lilies and daisies. Her face is carved from a recycled piano key, and her features delicately scrimshawed by hand. The necklace is reversible - showing the stone on the back - and beaded with natural turquoise. The Flower Fairy embodies the spirit of the nature, as well as the joy and innocence that are our natural state. She measures 1.6" x 1.4".

Each goddess necklace is signed on the bottom by the artist, with an easy-to-use sterling silver and gemstone box clasp. The standard beading length is 19" but can be strung to any length.
Fairies, also known as sprites, embody tiny parts of the spirit of nature and are attracted to beautiful gardens and wild places. Often invisible to adults, fairies will appear to the innocent and light of heart; children see them all the time. This particular sprite loves flowers, and the lilies of the valley tangled in her hair symbolize regrowth and rebirth. As flowers die with the winter and rise with the spring, so can we too reclaim our natural powers of joy and innocence.
