The Luna Pendant
The Luna Pendant
the moon, hope
Handmade from sterling silver, the Luna pendant is a beautiful art nouveau design backed with an iridescent mother of pearl stone. The necklace is reversible, showing the shimmering abalone on the back. It evokes images of a Luna moth in flight against the full moon, and a lantern lit against the darkness. It measures 1.8" x 0.9".

Art Nouveau was an artistic movement during the 1890s to 1910s. It was characterized by sinuous curves and soft lines, inspired by the natural world and the feminine. This design takes its roots in Art Nouveau with a modern gemstone of abalone behind it. Its gentle lines paint a picture of a moth, the moon, and a lantern lit against the night sky… reminding us that sometimes it is only when it is darkest that we can see our light.
